Download DriveImage XML 2.40. DriveImage XML is a free application for the formation of backup image files and partitions and logical drives. DriveImage XML uses Microsoft's Volume Shadow Services (VSS) in the process of making the image file which allows you to create a "hot images" even if the hard drive is being used.

Image files will be stored in a standard XML format, so that it could be processed by a third-party software, not only must the DriveImage XML. DriveImage XML 2.40, claimed to be able to run faster than the previous version. DriveImage XML offers two different levels of compression so you can choose according to your needs.

DriveImage XML is supported on Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 and Windows Vista. The program will backup and restore drives formatted FAT 12, 16, 32 and NTFS.
